For Your Appointment
Get a good night’s sleep and eat before your appointment. You being comfortable, well fed and rested will make the tattoo process go smoothly.
Feel free to bring a small quick snack to eat and water, coffee, tea, etc. to your appointment. Please do not try to eat a meal in the shop. This goes for your guest as well.
The studio prefers you come alone to your appointment, however you may bring ONE guest if necessary. We don’t have the space for your friends and extended family. They’ll be bored anyway.
Please be courteous of the artists and other clients in the studio. DO NOT try to play videos or music out loud on your phone. It is extremely distracting to everyone.
Feel free to bring headphones or a book to read. I won’t be offended if you’re quiet. We all work best when we can focus fully on the tattoo and the clients’ comfort.
Do not get drunk the day before, the day of, or the day after your tattoo appointment. Blood can thin with heavy alcohol consumption leaving you with an unpleasant healing process and unsatisfactory results.
Some medications do not interact well with tattoos. Consult your doctor if you’re unsure because I’m definitely not your doctor.
You absolutely may not bring any children with you to your appointment. You can’t leave them in the car either. No one under 18 will be permitted in the tattoo studio. Plan accordingly.
Venmo and Cashapp are acceptable for deposits. Cash is required for hourly payments. Please contact me if you need an estimate for your appointment.
Try not to arrive more than 10 minutes early. We have limited space in the waiting area and it’s always possible I’m running down to the wire on an earlier appointment.
Dress appropriately for the tattoo, leaving space for me to access the area. Please ask me if you are unsure of what to wear. Any questions can be sent to emilyadleblute@gmail.com. I may not be able to respond right away but I try my best.
